Target killing: MQM worker gunned down

Police claim that men on a motorcycle opened fire at Imran who was sitting outside his shop.

KARACHI: A political worker identified as 26-year-old Imran was shot dead while another man identified as Salman was injured near Lea Market on Monday, said the Kharadar police. They claim that men on a motorcycle opened fire at Imran who was sitting outside his shop. He was shot at twice. Salman was Imran’s friend and was injured in firing. They were taken to Civil Hospital, Karachi. According to SHO Ejaz Khokar, Imran was from the Kutchi Memon community. He said that Imran was an active worker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s unit 29.
