KARACHI: After the first marketing and advertising awards held last year, Pakistan Advertisers Society (PAS) has announced the second in the series, the PAS Awards 2012. In a press release, PAS says the primary objective of the awards is to raise the standard of advertising by acknowledging and honouring “idea, strategy and creativity that works”. The awards this year will have 25 major categories. In addition, a special category for ‘Media Innovation’ and a special award for ‘Campaign of the Year’ have also been introduced to encourage novel ideas and excellence in the field.
