Tuning in: Folk music show featuring Cholistan

BAHAWALPUR: The Abu Dhabi Cholistan Peoples Welfare Trust and the Cholistan Development Council arranged a folk music show to highlight Cholistani culture. According to the organisers, the event also showcases the work of neglected musicians, painters and craftsmen from Cholistan. The divisional commissioner Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed presided over the function and a number of folk singers from Cholistan including Hasina Khanam, Shazia Talib, Bushra Marvi, Mai Sunari, Korra Bhagat, Karishan Lal Bheel, Ghulam Hussain, Murid Hussain and others entertained the audience with their performances.
