ISLAMABAD: A woman was killed in hit-and-run incident in Shahzad Town on Thursday. Police sources said that Naseem Akhtar was standing at Piracha bus stop when a speeding car (PL-6504) hit her. Naseem died on the spot and the driver fled after the accident. Later, the deceased’s son, Muhammad Ali lodged a report with the police that his mother was waiting for a van at the stop when the reckless driver hit her. The police registered a case and started investigation.
