New year gift: Emirates offers global airfare discounts

KARACHI: Emirates, one of the world’s fastest-growing international airlines, is offering discounts on bookings from now until January 9 to more than 100 cities. Customers can save up to 25% on all published first class, business class and economy class fares departing between January 22 and June 30, 2012 when travelling one-way or round-trip to any destination on Emirates’ global network, according to a statement issued on Wednesday. Economy Class fares start from as low as Rs22,650 to the Middle East, Rs48,530 to South-East Asia, China, Japan and South Korea, Rs49,700 to Europe and Rs87,290 to North America and Canada.  Emirates Pakistan & Afghanistan Vice President Badr Abbas said “This global sale is our way of making the New Year even more exciting for our Pakistani passengers and we hope these discounts will facilitate travel to exciting destinations.” PRESS RELEASE
