Kidnapped: PML-N activist still missing

KARACHI:
The spokesman for the Sindh division of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Advocate Qadir Khan Mandokhel, strongly criticised the Sindh government and law enforcers for not doing enough to ensure the safe recovery of one of the party’s activists, Aitbar Gujjar, who was kidnapped three months ago.
On Thursday, he said that the SHO of the Quaidabad police station had refused to register an FIR.
The SHO had even denied that the abduction had happened within his jurisdiction. Mandokhel said that kidnapping for ransom was rampant in the city and the police had failed to stop such activities.
