TARNOL: The Tarnol police on Thursday arrested a drug peddler and seized hashish from him. The police intercepted Fayyaz Muhammad during routine patrolling in Jhangi Syedan and seized 1.5 kilograms of hashish from him. The police registered a case against the nabbed man under anti-narcotics law and started investigation. Meanwhile, a man was looted at gunpoint in the same area. Manzoor Ahmed lodged a report with the same police that he was going home when three masked men started following him. As soon as he entered his house, they took him at gunpoint and went inside with him. “They looted cell phone, prize bonds jewellery, a lap top computer worth Rs323,000 and fled,” Ahmed said.
