The outbreak of dengue claimed six more lives in Lahore, raising the death toll to 160 in Punjab, Express 24/7 reported on Tuesday.

The provincial capital is the most affected as 148 have died in Lahore alone.

A 10th grade student died today, who was under treatment at the CMH Lahore. Another 75-year-old man died at the Mayo Hospital in Lahore.

Two others succumbed to the virus in the Services Hospital.

Close to 325 new cases have been reported out of which 258 cases are in Lahore.

The total number of dengue cases has reached 13,400, out which 11,687 cases are from Lahore.
