Drone strike kills 5 in N Waziristan
According to sources, the drone targeted a vehicle in the Norak area of Miranshah where in two missiles were fired, killing five people as well as destroying the vehicle.
Earlier a US drone strike in a restive Pakistani tribal area on Friday had killed at least four suspected militants, local security officials said.
The unmanned aircraft fired two missiles, hitting a house in the Shin Warsak area of South Waziristan, a tribal district, wounding two other people, security officials had told AFP.

Pakistan has repeatedly lodged several protests with the United States over the drone strikes, calling it a 'core irritant' in the ties between the two countries, and that such attacks are counter-productive and only strengthen the hands of the terrorists.

The usa think they are winning a war that is just growing.. bigger and bigger the so called terrorists are being killed wat they dont learn is that they are growing by much greater numbers becouse off these attacks.. the time is near too a end all off this.. a leader is coming to rise from all this.. this silent war will be the killer to the americans they will see..

USA keeps playing a steady game. They are surely going to take out the Haqqani network one day.But I am more impressed with the thief-like silence of the Pakistani establishment on this issue now. USA practically has achieved effective air dominance over Pakistan.Under repeated airspace violation and when getting bombed regularly in blatant violation of Pakistani sovereignty, Pakistani polity is fighting over the control of Karachi and division of provinces etc. General Kayani wants to step into Karachi, and show the military might on basically a law and order issue but smartly looks the other way on the actual foreign intrusion. It is actually seeking another opportunity for a coup may be. So its kind of very funny. The political parties support mafia and gang war instead of ruling with the help of law. Police instead of enforcing law and order is effectively a silent spectator at best. Military whose main job is to protect Pakistan from external threat in more interested on internal Politics and law and order ( read Karachi ). External attacks by Taliban and NATO are killing Pakistanis every single day. And they keep safe their weapons and ISLAMIC BOMB for an Indian attack from east that will never come.What a cruel joke for an ordinary Pakistani who would like to be proud about Pakistan.
When was the last time you read about a Pakistani f-16 firing a missile and hitting a terrorist? That answer should tell you just how committed Pakistan is when it comes to combating terrorist.
