A wild boar attacked two boys in Peerwal Forest on Friday, killing one on the spot.

MULTAN: A wild boar attacked two boys in Peerwal Forest on Friday, killing one on the spot. The other, severely injured, was saved by residents as well as Rescue officials who chased the boar into the forest. Rescue officials identified the deceased as Muhammad Asif, 18. They said Asif was cutting wood when the boar attacked him. Ashraf Sayyal, the other boy, was attacked by the animal when he had tried to help Asif. Rescue officials shifted Sayyal to the Khanewal district headquarters hospital.
