KESC woes: Workers protest, outages continue

They claim that they are not being allowed to do their job.

KARACHI: The reinstated workers of the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) say they will continue their protest outside the press club until their demands are met. They claim that they are not being allowed to do their job. Meanwhile, a KESC spokesperson said that their special teams fixed problems in Landhi, Korangi Industrial area, Korangi Crossing, Quaidabad and Shah Faisal Colony. However, load shedding continues across the city.

Muhammad Imran | 12 years ago | Reply I am resident of DHA Karachi and have been out of electricity for more than 36 hours. I want to understand what KESC is doing do resolve the issue, solve complaints and most importantly compensate consumers who are affected due to this dispute.
