The World Food Programme (WFP) has started cash-for-work and food-for-work programmes in three districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The programmes have been launched to help the victims of last year’s devastating floods, displacement and terrorism.

The WFP says people who have suffered or were displaced due to terrorism or floods will benefit from these programmes.

The programmes have been started in Peshawar, Charsadda and Nowshera.

Fifty-eight thousand families from Nowshera have already benefitted from these programmes.
