The recent Bengaluru mass molestation of women on New Year's Eve left many in India appalled.

Several Bollywood celebrities including Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and others strongly condemned the incident. Bollywood starlet Malaika Arora also jumped on the bandwagon and shared an Instagram post on women's safety which soon went viral.

Many of Malaika's fans thanked her for the 'heartfelt message' and praised her 'well-written post'.

Turns out, Malaika lifted the caption from one Darshan Mondkar who shared the same post on Facebook a few days earlier.
