Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

As much as you enjoy the idea of cooperation, those who think it’s their job to take over decisions that really are yours to make are quite another matter. Yet with your ruler Mars in the portion of your chart that accents exactly this variety of togetherness, you may have no choice.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

At the moment, the shakeups triggered by the emotionally unsettling Taurus Full Moon may seem insurmountable. However, as is often the case with the lunar cycle, this is about calling your attention to issues, first to define them. Once that’s done, probably within days, you’ll focus on finding a solution.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

Now that your ruler Mercury has moved to accent close alliances, the time has come to talk over several persistent issues. Some will require only a quick chat. But others are more trickier and, if you’re to get anywhere with them, will demand that you combine tact with persistence.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

While the sudden complications that are disrupting certain jointly made plans are unsettling, you needn’t worry about them. Instead, ask others how they’d feel about reorganising things. You’re not alone in facing unexpected changes in circumstances. In fact, your suggestion that plans be rethought will be welcomed with open arms.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

You don’t often admit it, but you’re actually rather proud of that wilful side of your personality that refuses to give up, whatever the nature of the situation or challenge. Yet judging by the changes taking place, you owe it to yourself to consider saying farewell to an increasingly burdensome arrangement.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

For ages you’ve meant to tackle certain tricky domestic issues, but you’ve always felt you were short of facts. Judging by the degree to which sudden revelations have altered what you understood to be true, that’s no surprise. Now, however, unexpected events will reveal the full facts, and to everybody.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

Although the planet of good fortune, Jupiter, moved into Libra in September, you’re not sure that you could view any recent events as lucky. Yet when you’re able to look back on certain developments you regarded as unwelcome, you’ll realise they weren’t just fortunate, they were nothing short of breakthroughs.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

Having sidestepped discussions about tricky issues that involve who’s responsible for what, the time has come to talk these over. Much as you’re dreading conversations of this nature, not only will they go far better than you anticipated, they’ll also be surprisingly informative. Enough, in fact, they’re a relief.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

Mercury may be a small planet and have to do only with communication. But now that it’s actually in Sagittarius, you’ll notice how much sharper your mind is. Even more than that, you’ll be aware how confident you are about discussing matters that, previously, you’ve done all you can to avoid.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

Those born under the sign of Capricorn are extremely charming when the mood’s right. Or, as is the case now, when Venus is in your sign. This not only focuses your mind on winning others over to your ideas and, possibly, amorous objectives, it heightens your awareness of all of life’s beauties.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

Sticking with what or who you believe in may show strength of character. But judging by your current stars, your focus is on saying farewell to certain arrangements or alliances that are going nowhere or, worse, costing you in some way. Challenging as acknowledging this will be, these really must come to an end.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

By no means are you adverse to new ideas or the changes they’d bring. But you sometimes get so lost in the details that the full breadth of those changes is forgotten. Judging by this week’s distracting planetary activity, unless you both outline plans and remain focused, that could very easily happen.
