Numerous big names from the international music industry – namely Coldplay, Snow Patrol and Sigur Ros – have made cameo appearances in Game of Thrones’ short, six seasons worth of history.

But casting director Carla Strange has now revealed that even A-listers from all over the world have been attempting to bribe their way on to the show, hoping to star alongside its stars Kit Harrington, Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage before the final two seasons conclude.

“We get really strange things and letters and emails from people trying to get our attention,” The Independent quoted Strange as saying. “One person sent playing cards where every playing card has their face on it, doing a different emotion… it was really classy.”

Refusing to reveal any of the names, Strange continued, “Someone even sent me a Stormtrooper with a sticker of themselves on it. I’ve had people send Kit Kats. You get very random things in the post.”

According to Strange, receiving odd items in the mail is not as much of an oddity as one might expect as stars have been sending her things “365 days a year,” just for bit-parts. “The stars generally go to the producers directly, who then have a hard time trying to figure out where to cast them. There are only so many cameos that you can have!”

In other news, spoilers for season seven of the super successful HBO fantasy drama were leaked from its different sets in Spain over the last few weeks. Game of Thrones recommences in summer, 2017.
