Pakistani singer Atif Aslam's management team denied Indian media reports claiming his latest music video will not be released in India following escalating tensions between the two countries.

"The video is releasing all over the world, including India, as far as we know," Aslam's assistant Usman told The Express Tribune.

Aslam shot a single with Bollywood actor Ileana D'Cruz in Turkey and was set to be produced by T Series. However, Mid -Day reported the producers are not sure whether to release the single or not. "Since it features a Pakistani artiste, there is no way it can be released in the present circumstances. The producers have no option but to let it remain in cold storage. They are hoping things will change in the future when they can take a call," a source is reported to have said.

Further, music acquisition head of T-series, Vinod Bhanushali, was quoted as saying that the song cannot be released in the current circumstances. "There is no plan to release a music video as of now. Before the release of any single, we always have a plan in place. Right now, nothing is concrete," he said.
