ISLAMABAD: A sessions court on Friday rejected the bail petition of a man wanted by police for forging a certificate. Malik Muhammad Hassan had been booked by the Secretariat police for allegedly submitting a fake certificate in the Pakistan Engineering Council in 2015. He was later declared as a proclaimed offender. However, when police launched a campaign to arrest proclaimed offenders, Hassan obtained interim bail from the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Adnan. On Friday, however, the court dismissed Hassan’s bail plea after he failed to appear before the court to pursue his petition.
