Targeted attack: FC sepoy shot dead in Hayatabad

Police said the deceased, identified as Basit Ahmad, was with another FC man

PESHAWAR: A sepoy of the Frontier Constabulary was killed on Friday when motorcycle-riding gunmen opened fire on him in the Hayatabad area of the city.

Police said the deceased, identified as Basit Ahmad, was with another FC man in the Industrial Estate Road at the time of the attack. Basit was a resident of the Battagram area in Charsadda district.

The motive behind the murder was not immediately clear.
