What factors lie at the heart of Pakistan's dysfunction and how does one begin to set things in order? Is Pakistan's future going to be better than the past?

What ails Pakistan and why is it taking the country so long to address its ailments? A new book, titled Putting Pakistan Right: Standpoints on the War on Terror, Energy, Transit Corridors & Economic Development, and written by Moazzam Husain seeks to set into motion a discussion on the issues facing Pakistan and how to address them.

The book will be launched tomorrow (Thursday) at Karachi Gymkhana Club at 5pm. Speakers including Abdullah Hussain Haroon, Pakistan's former ambassador to the United Nations, Saleem Raza, former governor of the State Bank of Pakistan and Arshad Zuberi, former secretary-general of the All Pakistan Newspaper Society, will talk on some of the themes the book covers.
