KARACHI: Three more offices of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were bulldozed on Monday. The offices, located at Rizwan Bagh, Malir and Delhi Colony, were demolished by the staff of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) under the security of Rangers and police. “Today (Monday) we have demolished only a few offices because of unavailability of law enforcers due to the polio campaign in the city,” said KDA official Jamil Baloch while talking to The Express Tribune. More than 20 sector and unit offices of the MQM across the city, including in Lines Area, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi, Garden and Kharadar have so far been demolished by KDA, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation and law enforcement agencies since a crackdown against the illegal party offices began following the MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s controversial speech on August 22.
