One piece three ways: Ansab Jahangir

While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways

While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways. In this feature we have three fashionistas showing us how to put together an item from a designers collection, according to their own individual style and taste!

This coral peek-a-boo chiffon cowl neck tunic is from Ansab Jahangir’s upcoming Eid collection. The shirt has accents of mint and self-collar water pearls, sequins and Swarovski stones to give an ultra chic look. The designer states: “We are doing a comeback of the ever-luminous chiffon which drapes perfectly.”

With the beautiful Ansab Jahangir shirt, I wore matching pink gharara pants. I love how the gharara pant trend incorporates the traditional gharara and modern pants together. To style it I pulled the sleeves up a bit. As I am quite petite, I thought this was a good way to avoid getting lost in the tunic. For my make-up I went for a nude, clean summer look, and for my hair I tied a mid-rise ponytail. This outfit would make for a nice festive Eid look.

I wore the Ansab Jahangir shirt with my beige Valentino ‘Rockstud’ heels, ripped River Island jeans, and carried a silver Jimmy Choo clutch. I then accessorised with a thin brown belt, my Dior sunglasses and Aldo ‘Poodle’ earrings to add an extra oomph. For my make-up I went for bright candy pink lips to add a little colour and for my hair I tied a sleek mid-part low-rise bun. I think this outfit is the perfect lunch or tea look for a casual summer afternoon.

To style the Ansab Jahangir tunic, I wore white flared pants from Zara, nude pointy-heels and a python embossed clutch from Aldo. For my jewellery, I wore diamond and pearl drop earrings and a cocktail ring. For my hair, I went for a simple blow-dry and slightly pulled back my hair using pins. For my make-up I wore ‘Pink Nouveau’ lipstick from MAC and classic eyeliner. I think this would be a nice look for a formal brunch.
