After Rahat and Momina's Coke Studio duet received ample criticism, Abdullah Qureshi took to Facebook to sing -- what he termed -- the "most beautiful verse" of the song that had not been included in the Rahat-Momina performance.
Coke Studio 9: Rahat's rendition of 'Afreen Afreen' draws criticism from fans
"Sorry Coke Studio, but you missed the most beautiful verse of the song, so I couldn't stop myself from singing it. No comparisons please. Khan Saab will always be the King! #Afreen," Abdullah wrote in a Facebook post.
While talking to The Express Tribune, Abdullah said, "I myself never compare musicians. I believe every artist has their own style and it should be kept that way."
Abdullah's post has amassed nearly 20,000 shares and 37,000 likes in less than a day. The musician from Islamabad however, claims that his intention was just to cover the overlooked verses.
Coke Studio 9: The collaborations are not working out
"I didn't properly cover the song, that wasn't the intention, I've done that already and that was three-four years ago. I just casually sang the missing verse that was stuck in my head. Stop comparing guys please," said Abdullah in another post.

Do you think he sang better than Rahat?
