ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) President Professor Dr Shabbir Lehri has announced his intention to contest for the position of ‘member-at-large’ in the International Association of Medical Regulatory Authorities (IAMRA), in its Members General Assembly.The election will be held in conjunction with the 12th International Conference on Medical Regulations, on September 22 in Australia. “The President of PMDC is the only candidate to contest from Asia, which is an honour for Pakistan and the entire region, and for the Muslim world in particular”, said a PMDC statement issued on Friday.
