Service road: CDA starts development work in E-12/2

Project will be completed within five months

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has started construction work on dualised service road north and service road west of Sector E-12/2.

The project would cost Rs72 million and would be completed in five months time.

Apart from the dualised service roads one box culvert and drainage system along the roads would also be constructed.

The CDA Chairperson, Maroof Afzal, said that provision of quality residential facilities in the city was the prime resposibility of the authority, according to a press release this Wednesday.

He further added that due to the continuous efforts and dedication of the management of the authority, development work in many of those sectors had completed and possesion had also been given to the allottees.

A comprehensive strategy has been devised to initiate development work in E-12 to cope with the growing housing needs in the city, Afzal added.

He said that he had asked the project director to ensure timely completion of development with special focus on the quality of work.
