PARACHINAR: At least 70 displaced families have returned to Pakistan from Afghanistan, the political administration of Kurram Agency told The Express Tribune on Sunday. The families had migrated to Afghanistan as law and order deteriorated and a military operation was launched in North Waziristan. They took refuge in Garbaz. A majority of displaced families lacked basic amenities and other necessities and decided to return to their native land. The families returned to Kurram Agency through Kharlachi, Shaheedano Dand border and arrived in Bannu district. The families have voiced contentment over returning to Pakistan.
