In a matter of chance, Hrithik Roshan escaped the deadly suicide bombings at the Istanbul airport that left over 36 dead and hundreds injured on Tuesday.

The Bang Bang actor took to Twitter to share how the help of airport staff and travelling in economy class saved his life as well as his children's. He also expressed his solidarity with Turkey by sending prayers.

The 42-year-old actor was accompanied by his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan, with whom he had been holidaying in Spain and Africa after attending the IIFA Awards in Madrid last weekend.
