LOS ANGELES: Actor Amber Heard will reportedly not file a police report against estranged husband Johnny Depp because she still loves him. Earlier this week, the Magic Mike XXL star’s lawyers announced she will officially make a complaint about the alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of Depp, but it seems like she has now had a change of heart.
This week, Depp’s personal assistant claimed that text messages where he allegedly apologised to Heard for his supposed “violent behaviour” were heavily doctored. Stephen Deuters, mentioned that the messages posted online have been fabricated, and insisted Depp never attacked his estranged wife.

According to a source, the 30-year-old Heard is still in love with the Pirates of the Caribbean star and doesn’t want to bury him with allegations. If the sources are anything to go by, she wants to refrain from making a police report as she feels it would trigger an arrest and subsequent prosecution.
However, an insider close to the 52-year-old Depp has dismissed Heard’s apparent sympathy, insisting she deliberately timed her allegations to coincide with the release of his new movie Alice Through the Looking Glass. Depp’s latest release has tanked at the box office, taking a meagre amount of $65 million internationally on its opening weekend, a figure even lower than was projected just for US sales.
