An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday directed a man to seek relief from the SHO concerned on his petition seeking a case against 10 people for allegedly chopping his ears and hands of his sister and wife.
Petitioner Saqib Raza submitted that he had worked for one Muhammad Azeem. Azeem’s wife had married off their daughter to a man he did not approve of. “Azeem believed we were responsible for it,” he said.
He said that in 2015, his family was visiting Azeem’s house when he took them to an undisclosed place. “He cut my ears and hands of my sister and my wife.” The court disposed of the petition asking the petitioner to first seek relief from police.
