Red carpet round-up: TIME 100 Gala 2016

Celebrating TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people, a galaxy of renowned stars graced the red carpet in New York on Tuesday. Among them though, two stars excelled at their fashion game — from outfit choices to makeup, these ladies had it all together. Supermodel Karlie Kloss and notable TV presenter Padma Lakshmi were surely a cut above the rest!

The supermodel who was chosen as one of TIME magazine’s most influential people for both her modelling and charity participation, wore purple in honour of legendary singer Prince, who passed away last Thursday. Karlie chose a fuss free, spaghetti strap Victoria Beckham dress that featured a chic trumpet bottom. The gown streamlined her leggy frame impeccably well — lining her silhouette as it graced over her T-strap heels. The runway star kept makeup and accessories to a minimum, choosing a pair of rectangular earrings and one ring. That was clearly enough to leave us swooning!



Padma Lakshmi



The Top Chef host and model wowed in a fitted pink dress for the esteemed gala and simply slayed! Sliding into the flushed-pink halter number, which featured a knotted waist and a metallic detailing on the neckline, Padma got hearts racing. Exhibiting her incredible figure in the formfitting gown, wore her raven tresses loose with a wavy texture. The svelte diva complimented the vibrant dress with a deep pink pout, peachy blush and shimmery eye makeup. Accessorising aptly, the TV star carried a structured silver clutch while sporting delicate earrings.
