Teams from BVS and DHA Suffa University took the Best Exhibitor Award

KARACHI: The Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology’s (Szabist) mechatronic engineering department organised the second ‘Junior Design Competition and Exhibition.’ More than 100 engineering students and faculty members from various universities were invited to participate in the vehicle race and project exhibition. The theme for this year’s competition was to build the fastest, lightest and eco-friendly vehicle. Around 40 students contested in the CAD competition to design the fastest, lightest and cheapest vehicle. In the racing category, teams from National University of Sciences and Technology secured the first and third position, while Szabist grabbed second place. Teams from BVS and DHA Suffa University took the Best Exhibitor Award, while Szabist teams were given the awards for innovation, aesthetic and CAD.
