Fire breaks out in Karachi paint-manufacturing factory

On March 21, several workers fell unconscious while goods worth millions of rupees were gutted when a fire broke out in the basement of a private paint-manufacturing factory in Karachi’s SITE area.

At least four workers who fainted due to heavy plumes of smoke were rushed to a nearby medical facility. However, there were no immediate reports of casualties.

Misbah Kasi | 8 years ago | Reply This is how the land grabbing starts. First they burn down the forest lands or the mangroves or the katchi abadis. Then they start dumping construction materials. Karachi already ran out of parks and public places as multi story buildings occupy them now. In some cases mosques too!
