ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf [PTI] on Tuesday lodged a complaint with the Interior Minister against Nadra for hampering investigations into rigging in NA-110 Sialkot, during the 2013 general elections. Secretary Information Naeemul Haq penned the complaint asking Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to take action against “some elements” in NADRA who “prima facie were working at the behest of Defence Minister Khawaja Asif.” The letter said that the PTI had challenged the election results of NA-110 and the returning officer has handed over polling material to Nadra as per direction of the Supreme Court but that “some elements are hampering the process.” “We have credible evidence that some elements in Nadra are actively putting pressure on the staff,” he added.
