Self-defence: SSU organises training session at FUUAST

KARACHI: The Special Security Unit (SSU) of the Sindh police organised a day-long Hostile Environment Awareness Training at Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, Gulshan-e-Iqbal campus, on Tuesday. The session was held to educate participants about measures to be adopted in case of any hostile situation, such as a terrorist attack. According to the SSU spokesperson, commandos, including lady commandos, conducted mock exercises at the session. The spokespersons added that the commandos demonstrated how to keep yourself, and the people around you, safe during any incident such as a bomb blast. The spokesperson further said the awareness training programme is designed for people of various walks of life. The participants, which included teachers, students and other members of the faculty, showed keen interest in the awareness training.
