KARACHI: NBP will meet KRL in the final of the Pakistan Premier Football Federation (PFF) Cup as both teams won their respective semi-final matches at the Punjab Stadium in Lahore on Saturday.

NBP upset Army 1-0 in the first semi-final after scoring the game’s only goal in the fourth minute via a strike from Mohammad Maqbool.

The more experienced Army tried their best to find an equaliser, but it wasn’t their day as NBP hung on for the win.

PFF Cup: PAF confident of reaching final

Earlier in the day, five-time national champions KRL edged out PAF 4-3 on penalties after the game had ended goalless at the full-time whistle.

The final of the tournament is scheduled to take place on February 22, while Army and PAF will face off for third place on Sunday.
