MUMBAI: Sonam Kapoor’s forthcoming film, Neerja, seems to have sparked much dialogue on the concept of fear and how one can overcome it. The latest to jump the bandwagon is Kapoor’s Bollywood contemporary, Anushka Sharma who recently took to Twitter in her support.

The actor posted a video on the social media website wherein she spoke of her own fears and the feeling of fear on the whole. “My biggest fear is fear itself,” said the NH10 star. “I never want to be afraid of doing something I want.” Below the video was a special message dedicated to Kapoor and her team that read, “Here’s wishing #Neerja, aka Sonam Kapoor, a fearless run at the cinemas!” In response to this, Kapoor — who plays the lead role in the Ram Madhvani film — replied, “You are an artist, Anushka! I truly believe we need to learn how to be fearless from you!”

Produced by Atul Kasbekar, Neerja follows the story of Pan American World Airways (PanAm) Flight 73 which was hijacked on its way to Karachi in 1986. It is the biopic of flight attendant Neerja Bhanot, who managed to save the lives of 360 passengers on board, in exchange for her own. The Fox Star Studio production also features actors Shabana Azmi and Shekhar Ravjiani in supporting roles and is slated to release across India on February 19.
