Art, cultural show: Iranian revolution anniversary

The four-day exhibition will be open to public from Monday to Thursday

A four-day art and crafts exhibition showcasing Iranian calligraphy, books, manuscripts, handicrafts and artworks is being held on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the Iranian revolution.  This was announced by the Iranian cultural centre through a press release here on Sunday. The inaugural ceremony will be held on Monday at Lok Virsa . Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honardost and Federal Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid will be the chief guests. The four-day exhibition will be open to public from Monday to Thursday (February 1 to 4) daily from 10am to 5pm.  Prominent Iranian artists and artisans will be making metal inlay in wood, stone crafting, painting, making folk dresses and embroidery at the event.
