NEW DELHI: Hindu Sena chief Vishnu Gupta was arrested by local police on Friday in connection with vandalism of Pakistan International Airlines office in New Delhi.

Police said Gupta was arrested under Section 120B (being party to a criminal conspiracy) alongside Sections 147, 149, 427 and 452 of the Indian Penal Code.

"The police are still looking for the other Hindu Sena members involved in the vandalism," Deputy Commissioner of Police Jatin Narwal said.

Four members of Hindu Sena ransacked PIA office at Narayan Manzil in Barakhamba Road on Thursday, damaging computers, furniture and other office equipment.

Police arrested one member of the group, identified as Lalit Singh, while three others fled the scene.

The vandals also left pamphlets on the scene protesting Pakistan-India talks.

"There should be no talks with Pakistan unless they take stern action against people who have caused damage to India and hand over people like Dawood Ibrahim and Hafiz Saeed to India," the pamphlets stated.

Vishnu Gupta accepted responsibility for the attack, saying Pakistan should also be held responsible for attacks at Pathankot air base, as well as at Indian consulate in Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif.

Earlier, Gupta was arrested last October, days after his complaining that "beef" was being served at Kerala House canteen in Delhi, which was later found to be false.
