Flower show: Chrysanthemum show in full bloom

Many government, semi-government, private organizations and individuals are participating in the event

The 33rd Annual Chrysanthemum Flowers and Birds Show Friday kicked off at Rose and Jasmine Garden. The three-day show is being organised by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in collaboration with the Islamabad Horticultural Society (IHS) and Pakistan Horticulture Society (PHS). Many government, semi-government, private organizations and individuals including Islamabad Club, Pakistan Air Force Hospital, Allama Iqbal Open University, Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission and others are participating the event. Multiple varieties of chrysanthemum flowers particularly intermediate, incurred, reflex, sprays, anemone, pompons, Korean hybrid, and spidery flowers are displayed in mound, stall and rainbow orders at the show.


Prizes will be distributed at the concluding ceremony on Sunday.
