Mosquito threat: Dengue patient in critical condition

GUJRAT: A dengue patient was referred to a Gujranwala hospital on Saturday from Wazirabad. Health officials said Khalil, 18, had been down with fever for the past week. “He was being treated for fever. On Saturday, his condition deteriorated and he was taken to Gujranwala Civil Hospital. There, he was found to be suffering from dengue fever. Doctors have advised immediate blood and platelet infusion to save his life,” they said.
