CHARSADDA:

Senate Deputy Chairman Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said the west have double standards regarding militancy.

He was addressing a JUI-F workers convention in Charsadda on Saturday. “While condemning the Paris attack, western countries are silent on state-sponsored terrorism that takes place daily in Palestine and other parts of the Muslim world,” Haideri said.

He added the Muslim world condemned the recent attack on Paris. The deputy chairman condemned propaganda against madrassas and promised to raise his voice on the matter inside and outside of the parliament. “JUI-F is struggling for the imposition of Shariah law in the state,” Haideri said.

Furthermore, he added JUI-F will never accept any change in the route for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. At the occasion, PTI former central vice president Mian Mukarram Shah also resigned from PTI and joined JUI-F.
