Relaxation of rules: Partridge shooting permitted till Feb 7

According to the handout, the hunting of partridges will not be permitted in a few game reserves

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief conservator of wildlife has announced shooting of partridges has been made permissible from November 15 until February 7, 2016 in all parts of the province. This was stated in a handout issued by the information directorate on Thursday. “See-See partridges, black partridges, grey partridges and Chakur partridges are included in the list of birds that can be hunted,” read the statement. According to the handout, the hunting of partridges will not be permitted in a few game reserves. “These include Bagh in Totalai in Buner district, Rakh Sardaran in Haripur district, Darmalak, Toi Banda, Choda and Chukhto in Kohat district and Shinwari in Hangu district,” read the statement. “Hunting will only be permissible on Sundays and gazetted holidays.”
