Kashmir atrocities: NCHR to approach Pope Francis

Chairman NCHR said that it is the time to highlight India’s atrocities as it was severely violating human rights

ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) Justice (retd) Ali Nawaz Chohan has said the commission would write a letter to Pope Francis for playing his role to resolve Kashmir issue. In a statement issued here on Friday, he said that it is the time to highlight India’s atrocities as it was severely violating human rights in the region. The chairman said that efforts would be made for uniform education system and elimination of social menaces including child labour, child abuse, child marriage and minority rights violations.
