PARIS: The Germany football team were forced to change their hotel in Paris on Friday, after a bomb scare at their luxury accommodation ahead of their prestige friendly against France later in the day.

A police investigation was ongoing at the Hotel Molitor in the plush western region of Paris with all rooms being checked for any signs of suspicious evidence.

The world champions are expected to have lunch away from the hotel reports Guardian and return in the early afternoon to pick up their kit before heading to the Stade de France.
