KARACHI:

B-town celebs put their best fashion foot forward at this year’s festival of lights – Diwali. Going all-out with their choices, Bollywood A-listers donned desi ensembles in some of the most vivacious ways. Fashionistas, this time we give you a round-up of three of our hot favourites, who stole the spotlight this festive season. Take inspiration from these stylish looks for a sizzling wedding season wardrobe.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Bebo looked stunning in a Sabyasachi creation at a Diwali bash. Wearing a dull gold sequined anarkali dress, Kareena exuded classy yet sensual appeal. She chose to give the attire a traditional twist by teaming it with a dupatta that cinched in on her waist with a sari belt. A mix-and-match of dull and bright gold made her outfit stand out. The fashion icon pulled her hair back in a sleek bun and accentuated her look with maroon Amrapali earrings, which added colour to her outfit. The actor was seen carrying a matching Sabyasachi black-and-gold clutch. The begum stuck to traditions with her bindi and sindoor.

Deepika Padukone

Staying true to form, Deepika showed that she can look red-hot in both formal and casual attire. She turned heads in a Payal Jain ensemble, which featured a red-and-white floral embroidered sari with a halter blouse. Keeping her look simple, she neatly tied her hair in a bun with middle-parting. Rustic jewellery and bold, smoky eyes rounded off her look. She sported turquoise jewellery by Sangeeta Boochra, which contrasted with the red embroidery on her sari. Hats off to the girl for always dressing to the occasion.

Shilpa Shetty

Shining bright like a diamond was Shilpa Shetty this Diwali. The superstar showed off her well-toned body in a Manish Malhotra lehenga and choli. Dolled up in a glittery, electric blue embellished lehenga, she paired the lower with a sleeveless suede crop-top in ink blue. The star went all-out for the fiesta, accessorising her look with glittery diamond earrings and a bracelet. Wearing a wide smile on her berry lips, she let her hair loose over one shoulder, acing the ethnic look she had aimed for.
