UK war games: Gen Raheel lauds army team’s victory
Pakistan Army team was led by Captain Tauseef and clinched gold medal

Army chief General Raheel Sharif lauded on Wednesday the Pakistan Army team which recently returned after winning a gold medal in Cambrian Patrol war games held in UK.
“General Raheel met on Wednesday with Pakistan Army team which recently returned after participating and winning gold medal in Exercise Cambrian Patrol held in UK from October 15 to October 25,” a press release issued by the military’s media wing, ISPR, said.
The army chief appreciated the team for their commendable achievement in winning the coveted trophy and keeping the country’s flag high, the statement added.

A total of 120 teams, including India, participated in the Cambrian Patrol, which is known as one of the toughest field exercise for any military. “Cambrian Patrol is a physically challenging, arduous exercise which concentrates on teamwork for achieving the mission,” it said.
The statement further said that the exercise was carried out in Wales, UK across jungles, water obstacles and mountains testing leadership, self-discipline, courage and determination of the participants. “The Pakistani team, which clinched a gold medal, was led by Captain Tauseef.”

General Raheel will be leaving for Washington on Sunday for a five-day trip to the United States, where he is expected to clearly highlight Pakistan’s perspective on the emerging regional realities.
