LAHORE: “Growth of urban zones has exacerbated the water pollution crisis and has adversely affected fresh water habitats,” Fisheries Department Director General Muhammad Ayub said on Wednesday. He said fish were losing breeding spots due to the construction of barrages on rivers. He was addressing a function held to mark the release of fish seed at Head Balloki.
