A team of the anti-corruption establishment, accompanied by a civil judge, raided Civil Hospital, Mirpur Mathelo, on Wednesday and took its records into custody.


The team of anti-corruption establishment, Ghotki, led by assistant director Mukhtiar Lashari and civil judge Syed Aijaz Shah, raided the hospital in Mirpur Mathelo. The team members met the medical superintendent, Abdul Latif Buriro, who provided them the records pertaining to development works, purchase of equipment and medicines, and others for the year 2014-2015.


The team visited different sections of the hospital, including its medical store, and left along with the records. Lashari told journalists that the raid was aimed at checking the records of development works and purchase of equipment and medicines. He said that after going through the record, the report will be submitted to senior officials.
