KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) delegation, headed by Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, visited the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Karachi headquarters on Monday. Speaking to the media, both the parties termed the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) demand for a separate province a mere trick to attract voters. “We will not allow the MQM into fooling Mohajirs anymore,” said Ali Zaidi, who was heading the PTI delegation. “The MQM should answer what they have done for the Urdu-speaking community in the last 30 years,” he asked. He added that the alliance of JI and PTI will bring Karachi out of terror. Rehman said that if MQM was sincere in their demand of a separate province, they should have raised the matter in the assembly. “We don’t want an election like Khairpur,” claimed Rehman.
