One killed, two injured in New York

The incident occurred around 6 a.m. at the entrance of the Penn subway station in Manhattan

NEW YORK: Three people were shot, one fatally, near Penn station in Manhattan, New York City. No arrests have yet been made by the local police.

The incident occurred around 6 a.m. at the entrance of the Penn subway station, one of America's busiest transit hubs.

NYPD officials maintained that their preliminary investigation indicates the shooting to have occurred inside the subway station.



The surviving victims were transported to nearby hospital with serious conditions. One person was shot in the stomach and the other in the leg. However, the injuries were not considered life-threatening.
