Met Department forecasts more foggy weather

Meteorology Department says many areas of Punjab to remain under heavy fog in morning hours this week.

The Meteorology Department on Monday said that many areas of Punjab including Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Sukkur will continue to remain under heavy fog in morning hours.

The weather is also forecast to remain foggy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the upper areas of Sindh province for much of this week.

The fog cleared in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Southern Punjab in the afternoon today (Monday) after train and flight schedules were adversely affected in the province due to the dense fog.

Residents of the twin cities also faced traffic conditions due to the weather conditions.
